How well will Iris score in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012? Voor De Show on VTM asked some fortunetellers to predict the result of Belgium in Baku. A victory is not possible according to them, but most of them see Iris reaching the final where she'll finish around the 10th place or even in the top 10.

Flemish broadcaster VRT is still looking for the ultimate Eurovision song for Iris. VRT launched the search for songs on its website Een.be. Songs for Iris can be submitted until 16th January 2012. The 12 points from the Belgian televoting and jury went to the Netherlands again. The Belgian jury was composed of Cliff Vrancken, Caren Meynen, Els Germonpré, Gerrit Kerremans, Maarten Verhaeghen and former Junior Eurosong participant Bab Buelens. Jill & Lauren announced the votes from Belgium.

Former Junior Eurosong participant Axelle Aerts took part in the blind audition of The Voice van Vlaanderen on VTM. In 2006 Axelle finished third in Eurosong For Kids together with Elise Mangelschots under the name Lizz@xy. Now she convinced the jury with This Is A Man's World and picked Natalia as her coach.

Jill & Lauren will announce the results of the Belgian jury and televote in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 on Saturday. Jill & Lauren represented Belgium last year with the song Get Up! and finished seventh in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010. Kristien Maes and Tom De Cock are the commentators.

24 candidates have been selected for the semifinal of Malta Eurosong 2012 on 3rd February. One of them is Flemish singer Liz Verbruggen aka Leila James. Together with Maltese singer Deborah C she'll perform the song You Make Me Go UH UH written by Flemish songwriters Patrick Renier and David Vervoort.

Belgian Eurovision 2012 candidate Iris will be one of the guests in Vrienden Van de Veire on Eén tonight. K3, Marcel Vanthilt, Jonas Van Geel and Laura Pausini are the other guests. Laura Van den Bruel was a guest of Peter Van de Veire before, in his MNM radio show where she promoted her first single as Airis, Wonderful.
