Dutch broadcaster AVRO has published audio snippets of the eight songs to compete in the AVRO Junior Songfestival 2010 in September. On www.juniorsongfestival.nl you can also listen to Famous, the joint song of this year's Junior Eurovision participants in the Netherlands.

Georgian broadcaster GPB has announced the 13 entries competing in the national selections for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The songs can be heard on GPB's official Junior Eurovision website Junior.eurovision-georgia.ge. The National Final of Georgia will be held in September.

Pop singer Mika is being lined up to write the next UK entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, according to British newspaper The Sun. "Mika has all the right ingredients to make a successful song," a BBC source told. "We hope he says yes." The UK finished last with Josh Dubovie in this year's final.

The 3 J's will represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 according to 3FM radio presenter Giel Beelen. On Thursday 15th July Dutch broadcaster TROS will reveal the Dutch plans for the Nationaal Songfestival 2011 and the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 to be held in Germany next year during the live broadcast of TROS Gouden Uren with Daniël Dekker. Listen to Radio 2 between 10 and 12 o'clock.
