Twelve candidates are left in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2012 in Finland. Three candidates will still compete for the thirteenth wildcard: The Spyro with Teleport My Heart, Martina with Checkmate and Jessica Wolff with Better. The game continues until six candidates are left in the final on 25th February.

Kim-Lian van der Meij is the new tv host of Dutch broadcaster AVRO. At the end of 2012, Kim-Lian will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held in the Netherlands for the second time together with Ewout Genemans. Kim-Lian also hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 that was held in Rotterdam.
