Alexander Rybak from Norway has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song Fairytale. Alexander Rybak defeated his competitors with a never seen landslide victory. Yohanna from Iceland finished second, Aysel & Arash from Azerbaijan third, Hadise for Turkey fourth and Jade Ewen from the UK fifth.
