More than thousand people were expected to join the Eurovision Party in Helsinki for which OGAE Finland and Eurovision-Turkey.com started preparing more than four months ago. Hadise was announced as the top act of the event, ticket sales had started, invitations for the party, press conference and reception at the Turkish Embassy in Helsinki had been sent. But exactly one week before the event Hadise cancelled.
According to Hadise's management, the visit to Scandinavia had to be cancelled for two reasons. Hadise needs to shoot a new video clip because the current video clip of Düm Tek Tek was banned by Turkish Broadcaster TRT and Hadise needs more time to practice for her choreography for the Eurovision Song Contest. The angry organizers of the Finnish Eurovision event have immediately stopped promoting Düm Tek Tek. |
