At the Head of Delegation meeting, the seventeen participating countries will officially submit their entry as well as the preview video for the song. Dutch broadcaster AVRO will introduce their plans for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest and show the delegations around in Ahoy, the venue in which the contest will be held. Furthermore, the running order for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be drawn in several phases.
To start with, the first and the last country to perform will be drawn, followed by the start position of the Netherlands in case the host country was not drawn yet. Later on, the other countries will be drawn into three groups in order to determine whether they'll perform at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the show. The order in each group will be decided by the European Broadcasting Union without a draw in order to guarantee a varied show. |
