This Saturday, when all 15 countries will have presented their song at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006, Sander, the singer of Eurosong for Kids 2006 runners-up The Fireflies, will announce the results of the Belgian televoting. This scoop we just learned in Bucharest.

Together with his brother Brent, Moreno and Ben, Sander forms part of the band The Fireflies. With the song Waarom? they took part in Eurosong for Kids 2006. The Fireflies won the second semifinal, but finished second in the final in which they were defeated by Thor!

Sander for Belgium, but also the Dutch spokesperson will have a Belgian touch. Tess Gaerthé, who lives in Belgium and represented the Netherlands at last year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Hasselt with the song Stupid, will announce the Dutch televoting results.
