The national broadcaster of FYR Macedonia has revealed the 32 songs to participate in the Macedonian selections for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow. Out of 142 submitted songs MKRTV selected 32 songs to compete in two semifinals. Find the shortlist below.

The national broadcaster of Georgia today decided that the country will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 after all. Following a huge politicial conflict between Russia and Georgia in August last year, Georgia decided to boycott the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 to be held in Moscow.

Chiara Siracusa, the singer who represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998 and 2005, took part in the seventh heat of Eurosong 2009 last night. Crazy For You (Düm Tek Tek), the song in English to be performed by Turkish representative Hadise in the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, is a composition of Sinan Akçıl. Hadise wrote the lyrics of the song herself with the help of Stefaan Fernande.

Will Don't Kiss For Money by Sahara become the third 'Belgian' song in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009? The song that will take part in the semifinal of the Bulgarian national selections on 24th January was written by Stefaan Fernande and Dutch songwriter Ingrid Mank can be heard below.
