Fourteen countries will compete in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Minsk on 20th November. Russia was the first country to select a song in the beginning of June. The microstate Liechtenstein wants to debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011. The national broadcaster 1FLTV (1. Fürstendum Liechtenstein Television) applied for membership of the European Broadcasting Union, 1FLTV Director Peter Heeb told local newspaper Vaterland Liechtenstein.

Already 500 Belgovision.com visitors have voted in our Junior Eurosong 2010 poll. Jill & Lauren received 26,6% of the votes with Get Up!, Emma 23,9% of the votes with Jamanee and DnA 23,6% of the votes with Power Aan De Kids. Ymke (9,6%), Ferre (4,8%), Luis (4,8%), Ine (3,5%) and Emile (3,3%) follow.

Jessy Matador, the French representative of the most recent Eurovision Song Contest held in Oslo, has a follow-up single for his Eurovision summer hit Allez Ola Olé. Bomba is the new song of the singer from Congo. The video clip for the new single of Jessy Matador can be seen below.

On Saturday 20th November the eighth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, with fourteen participating countries. Get introduced to this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest host city, the Minsk Arena and the plans of Belarusian broadcaster BTRC.

Children between 10 and 15 years old from fourteen nations will compete in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010, to be held on 20th November in Minsk, Belarus. Moldova is represented for the first time, Lithuanian broadcaster LRT, Latvian broadcaster LTV and Swedish broadcaster SVT return.

Dutch broadcaster AVRO has published audio snippets of the eight songs to compete in the AVRO Junior Songfestival 2010 in September. On www.juniorsongfestival.nl you can also listen to Famous, the joint song of this year's Junior Eurovision participants in the Netherlands.

Jessy Matador keeps his place in the top 5 of the Ultratop 50 in Flanders this week. Tom Dice and Lena Meyer-Landrut dropped in the charts. In the Ultratip 30 Belle Perez makes her first appearance with her new single La Colegiala which she presented in Vlaanderen Muziekland on Eén this week.
